Music For the War

As the drums pound louder for Civil War II,  the communists have about 55 years worth of Top 40 hits to choose from for motivational anthems. Patriots, on the other hand, don’t have a heck of a lot to march to that has been recorded since WWII. However, I did find a guy mixing some battle hymns for Americans.

His name is Nitemare817 and his music genre is what I would call old school gangster rap. But his message is pretty much the opposite of anything you’ll hear on the radio. Predictably, the usual dirtbags running social media censor and deplatform him…but he keeps gaining fans anyway.

Not all of his songs have videos, but here’s one that does:

This is not the typical rapper who mixes boring beats in Mom’s apartment and floods YouTube with them.  Nightmare’s mixing sounds pretty tight from what I can tell (disclaimer: I do have hearing damage, but I can still pick up a lot of detail in music, with headphones on). IOW: it sounds like professional work, with lots of thought and creative effort put into it.

This one below is more poetry than rap, but the words resonate:

As could be expected with gangster rap, the lyrics are mostly Rated R. But Nitemare is saying stuff with his music that needs to be said.
